GREAT NEWS for Pre-Physical Therapy students!
WWU and Tus University Physical Therapy program have an agreement that allows WWU students who
complete a degree with a major in Kinesiology or Public Health to have guaranteed acceptance into the
Tus University Doctor of Physical Therapy hybrid program, if the student completes the required
prerequisite courses with the required grade level, and they fulll Tus program applicaon
requirements, including successful compleon of a video interview.
Tus University Doctor of Physical Therapy hybrid program will accept up to ten WWU students into
each of its PT school sites (Boston, Massachuses; Phoenix, Arizona; and Seale, Washington) each year.
WWU students are responsible for reading the full descripon of the Tus University Physical Therapy
program DPT hybrid program at: hps://medicine.tus.edu/academics/physical-therapy, and the
admission requirements at: hps://medicine.tus.edu/admissions-nancial-aid/admission-
program/doctor-physical-therapy and hps://medicine.tus.edu/admissions-nancial-aid/admission-
program/doctor-physical-therapy/dpt-seale. Students may request informaon at:

WWU students should also read the updates sent out to Kinesiology and Public Health majors from
WWU pre-PT advisors, detailing upcoming informaonal events hosted by the Tus University PT
program.
To apply to the Tus University Physical Therapy program under this agreement, WWU students must
complete the following:
1. A 4-year degree major in Kinesiology or Public Health, prior to starng the Tus PT program.
2. The following WWU courses:
BIOL 101 (4 cr) (w/lab) & an upper-level
Biology course such as Genetics,
Microbiology, or Neuroscience or Exercise
Physiology (4-5 cr)(w/lab)
OR
BIOL 204 (5 cr) (w/lab) & BIOL 205 (5 cr)
(w/lab)
OR
BIOL 204 (5 cr) (w/lab) & an upper-level
Biology course such as Genetics,
Microbiology, or Neuroscience or Exercise
Physiology (4-5cr)(w/lab)
General Biology II (may include an
upper-level Biology course such as
Genetics, Microbiology, or
Neuroscience. One Biology
requirement may be fulfilled by an
Exercise Physiology course)
